Rear view Camera for Bikes
Abstract
Yearly there are on average 100+ people killed due to motorcycle accidents. The cause of a lot of those accidents are distracted motorcycle riders who have a hard time simultaneously checking their blind spots and driving. Riders cannot see behind them and in front of them which is very risky to begin with. So, we came up with a design that allows riders to look forward at all times and still be able to see behind them. They will be able to do this with a rearview camera and monitor display setup on the rear of the bike and handlebars connected by wiring. Another potential setup is having the camera on the rear of the helmet and the display on the handlebars, connected via Bluetooth.
